Techno Functional Consultant L2/L3 (Citrix Admin) – C1 band
Key responsibilities:
· Proven work experience as a private and public Cloud Architect or similar role
· Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT partners.
· Excellent presentation skills
· Working knowledge of Excel (data manipulation) and reporting
· In depth knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
· In depth knowledge of Citrix
· In depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and W365 Cloud PC services
· Experience designing, building and operating cloud infrastructures and services
· Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
· Knowledgeable across Hyper-scalers and Hypervisors
· Strong Knowledge across Datacentre and Cloud Operating Systems
· Understanding of Image Management, Personas, Single and Multi-Session VDIs
· Experience in application and user migrations
· Hands on experience of Citrix Xenserver
· Hands on experience of Azure Local (On Prem), Azure Stack HCI
· Understanding of HCI (Hyper Converged Infrastructure)
· Knowledge of programming languages, databases, and software deployment methodologies
· Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certification
· Citrix Certified: CCEE, CCIA
· Designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on private and public cloud
· Designing Azure infrastructure and services to meet the company’s needs
· Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the transformation lifecycle
· Creating and coordinating the cloud architecture and leading the cultural change for cloud adoption
· Developing and coordinating cloud architecture and driving a ‘cloud-first’ approach within the organization
· Design cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
· Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives
· Identifying, analyzing and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
· Collaborating with team members to improve the company’s cloud management, application design, data migration, and security setup
· Identifying appropriate use of Azure operational best practices and architectural design patterns
· Conducting systems plan studies and system modelling, performance and capacity analysis
· Estimating cost and identifying cost control mechanisms for Azure cloud-based resources
· Migrating complex, multi-tier applications on Azure
· Implementing and controlling the flow of data to and from Azure
· Selecting the appropriate Azure service based on data, compute, database, or security requirements
· Integrating Azure services with on-premises networks, as required
· Maintaining knowledge of latest Azure updates and improvements to provide optimal solutions
· Providing expertise and architectural assistance to other IT personnel
· Designing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies across cloud solutions

Citrix
· Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for various technical aspects of Citrix
· Design principles and blueprint for Citrix Provisioning Services, Machine Creation Service, Citrix Virtual Applications, Citrix Virtual Desktops, Hosted Desktops, Citrix Profile Management, Windows Roaming Profiles, Workspace Environment Management, Citrix Policies, Netscaler Gateway/Load Balancing/GSLB, Storefront, Multi-site aggregations, Xenserver
· Work side-by-side with the rest of the Citrix team as needed to guide routine maintenance of the Citrix system, including PVS maintenance scheduling, end-user support, creation of gold images, working with Advanced Group Policy Management, and setup/configuration and debugging of the various components of the Citrix farm
· Provide technical support and assistance to Systems/Applications Analysts, Systems Engineers, and other technical staff/application teams
· Design, development, and implementation of end-to-end integrated systems
· Participate in documenting existing and future systems architecture and technology portfolio to support end-users, clients, and senior management
· Define requirements for application and infrastructure development
· Design the integration points to monitor systems and technology capacity plans
· Document policies for securing and standardizing systems, infrastructure and software as necessary
· Responsible for the architecture and implementation of Citrix Cloud
