Core Responsibilities
1. Designs, implements, and deploys cloud platforms to support and meet business needs. Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
2. Provides advanced technical support to ensure the reliable operation of cloud production environments. Troubleshoots and resolves complex software and system integration issues across multiple cloud platforms, maintaining comprehensive technical knowledge in both software and infrastructure technologies. Supports complex projects by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues that span multiple technology domains, handling escalations from the team and driving effective solutions.
3. Develop and maintain solutions to maximize operation uptime, system stability, track system performance and address potential issues proactively. Establishes and manages disaster recovery and business continuity protocols, ensuring robust backup strategies and minimizing data loss risks
4. Develops technical standards and documentation, enforces security best practices, supports disaster recovery and collaborates with teams to align cloud solutions with business needs. Tests and evaluates IT vendor products. Reviews configuration parameters to optimize system performance and maximize operation uptime
5. Elevates code into the development, test, and cloud production environments on schedule. Provides follow-up production support. Submits change control requests and documents.
6. Develops and implements automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and scaling of cloud-based resources.
7. Learns and understands client area business functions and requirements. Determines the appropriate technical tool to address the client's business needs.
8. Trains and mentors more junior staff on processes and releases. Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues elevated from staff. Provides guidance and consultation as required. Updates, writes, and maintains documentation for the department.
9. Administers system activities. Writes the technical portion of assigned deliverables. Performs systems analysis, including system requirements analysis and definition, and logical design.
10. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
