Job description:
- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies.
- Cable harness experience and process writing are a plus.
- Interprets engineering prints to design processes and works with design engineering to implement production improvements.
- Supports the production floor by working with the operations team and focusing on continuous improvement.
- Designs, procures, and implements tooling to support manufacturing processes.
- May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and specifications.
- Designs manufacturing processes and production layout for circuit card assemblies and subassemblies.
- Understands how the circuit card assembly process works.
- Cable harness experience and electromechanical subassembly experience are also beneficial.
- Shift hours are Mon-Thurs 5 AM-3:30 PM EST
- Candidate must be able to read/write English .
- Candidate must be able to walk up and down stairs and must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
