Role Overview:
Our globally renowned aerospace client is seeking a PLM Process & System Specialist to be based in Bristol. The role provides specialist support for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and the Siemens Teamcenter system across the client’s programmes, ensuring effective deployment, configuration, governance, and user adoption.
The post holder will support the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of Teamcenter (Active Workspace and Desktop), delivering user training, system administration, and multi-level support to ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and configuration management requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, deployment, configuration, testing, and enhancement of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM system.
- Deliver end-user training and face-to-face support to programme teams and stakeholders across the client’s sites.
- Provide full L1–L3 system support, including access administration, ticket triage, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and escalation to vendors or infrastructure teams as required.
- Administer role-based access control and conduct user access audits in line with security and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate and implement system configuration changes and capability upgrades, including verification and validation of PLM functionality.
- Develop, maintain, and publish PLM system reporting and programme dashboards.
- Maintain user documentation and internal web content to support consistent system use and process adherence.
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities relating to PLM processes and system performance, supporting the development of mitigation actions.
- Compile, analyse, and report data to demonstrate compliance with regulatory, contractual, and configuration management obligations.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience using Siemens Teamcenter, including Active Workspace and Desktop applications.
- Good understanding of PLM principles, engineering design processes, and product data management.
- Experience supporting configuration and data management across design, test, and manufacturing environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
- High attention to detail, strong quality focus, and the ability to manage workload independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all organisational levels.
Additional Information:
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain SC clearance is required.
- The role will primarily be office-based to support face-to-face engagement, with travel required to client sites during system rollout and training phases.
- UK Nationals only, in line with security requirements associated with defence programmes.
