Job description:
This contractor position may perform the following tasks:
- general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations;
- month-end closing process;
- financial reporting;
- financial reviews and analysis;
- legal entity accounting;
- hedge accounting support;
- accounting for foreign currencies;
- indirect tax support;
- corporate income tax support;
- audit support;
- analyzing and troubleshooting accounting issues
- The team is responsible for US and international financial and tax reporting for numerous Lockheed Martin entities. The role requires demonstrated competency of generally accepted accounting principles.
- The team member is expected to successfully handle multiple and simultaneous tasks, assignments, priorities and deadlines. Effective communication, organization/prioritization, and analytical skills are required.
